Dear Councillor
You are hereby summoned to attend a Meeting of the Parish Council, which will be held on Thursday 17 March 2022 at Kettlethorpe Village Hall, following the Annual Parish Meeting at 7pm. All attendees are requested to observe Government advice at the time.
The meeting is open to the public and during the meeting there will be a 15-minute public forum when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council in relation to the business on the agenda.
AGENDA
1. Chairman’s opening remarks.
2. To receive apologies and reasons for absence.
3. To receive Declarations of Interest on any item on the Agenda.
Members may make any declarations of interest at this point but may also make them at any point during the meeting.
4. To resolve to suspend the meeting to allow no more than 15 minutes of public forum.
5. Notes of the Parish Council meetings:
i. Notes of the Parish Council meeting held on 20 January 2022 to be approved and signed as minutes.
ii. To note any Parish Council Business conducted under Delegated Powers to carry out PC business by the Clerk, as adopted 5 May 2021, minute 757 b. (if applicable).
6. To receive reports from Police with crime information.
7. Planning Matters.
i. Planning Applications
8. To receive any updates regarding the Speedwatch scheme and to consider any action.
9. To receive any updates regarding the proposed Speed Reduction at Torksey Lock.
10. To consider provision of a bench at Chestnut Corner in Fenton.
11. To consider re-adopting the following policies and to consider any updates:

14. Notice Board at Torksey Lock. To receive any updates regarding the Notice board at Torksey Lock and to agree any further action.
15. I D for parish Councillors. To receive any updates regarding ID for Cllrs. and information in the Notice boards.
16. To receive any updates regarding the defibrillator.
17. To consider Training arrangements for Cllrs.

i. To approve the Statement of accounts and bank reconciliations to date.
ii. To consider arrangements for the appointment of an Internal Auditor.

Matters can be raised and may become future agenda items. Items will only be taken if notified to the Chairman 24 hours prior to the meeting.
21. To receive any updates regarding the upcoming Jubilee celebrations and to consider any participation with other Parish Councils, following an email from Newton on Trent PC.
